How long is my data retained?
Your data is retained for the duration of your active subscription. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account — once deleted, data is removed from our active systems. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How is my data isolated from other organizations?
Every database query is scoped to your organization using PostgreSQL row-level security (RLS) policies. One tenant's data is never accessible to another, even at the database level.
What happens if there's a security incident?
We monitor our infrastructure continuously. If we detect a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected account administrators by email without undue delay. For security concerns, contact support@komplio.com.
Are there automatic backups?
Our infrastructure provider (Supabase) runs automated database backups as part of their standard service. In the event of a system failure, we can restore from the most recent backup. Backup retention follows our data retention policy.
Who can access my data?
Only members of your organization, based on their assigned roles (admin, supervisor, cleaner). Our infrastructure providers — Supabase for hosting, Stripe for payments — process data as needed to operate the service. We never sell your data to third parties.
Does Komplio guarantee regulatory compliance?
No. Komplio is a management and record-keeping tool. It helps you build documentation and audit trails, but does not replace professional hygiene audits or regulatory compliance assessments. See Terms of Service, Section 10 for details.
